Tom Reinert Johansen
CEO / MSc Business Administration
Tom brings broad experience in company building, product development, and technology leadership. In 2018, he co-founded Elekt, a technology company that now serves thousands of users across the Nordics. His background includes roles in the Norwegian Armed Forces and the energy sector, as well as accounting and auditing work during and after his studies.
With a strong interest in efficiency and automation, Tom is passionate about developing solutions that deliver real value to customers. His ability to combine strategy, technology, and business insight plays a key role in the development of Faunus Hub.

Pia Gjertsen Prestmo
CSO / Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Pia graduated from Szent István University in Budapest in 2011 and spent several years as a poultry veterinarian with one of Norway’s main integrators. She also has experience with production animals on farm and in abattoirs, having worked as a veterinary inspector for the Norwegian Food Safety Authority and as an Official Veterinarian in the UK.
In addition, Pia has been involved in research and teaching of veterinary students at the University of Bristol, and completed a master’s degree in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology at the Royal Veterinary College.
She is passionate about strengthening the role of producers and contributing to increased profitability in the industry, while working to ensure high quality throughout the value chain.

Richard Olav Rud
CTO / Software Engineer
Richard holds a degree in Applied Computer Technology with a specialisation in human-computer interaction and programming, as well as a master’s degree in Industrial Ecology focusing on systems analysis, environment, and sustainability.
With over 10 years of experience as a data manager, he has developed technical infrastructure for collecting, validating, analysing, and making data accessible. At Faunus Hub, he ensures we build robust and user-friendly solutions with high data value.
Richard is a UX-focused full-stack developer who strongly believes in frequent user testing – working systematically to make complex technology easily accessible to the end user.
